The Velvet Noir · Care
Therapy
Some things are more than a community can hold. With Ivy Wang, this section offers kink-affirming online therapy in English and Mandarin: you don't have to explain what this is first, or prove it isn't the problem. Therapy is provided by her independent practice, Relational Ground Therapy.
When it may help to talk
- Shame, or trying to make sense of what this means about you
- How to tell a partner or family, or what to do after you did
- The same fight, or boundaries you can't agree on
- Jealousy, insecurity and limits in open relationships
- After a line was crossed, or a relationship went wrong
- A low that doesn't lift after a scene
- Family and cultural expectations that weigh on you

If you need help now
Therapy is not an emergency service. In the US, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
Ivy Wang practises independently and does not sell or review our products. The Velvet Noir does not itself provide therapy, neither receives nor pays referral fees, and never knows who attends.
